Top ASEAN, South Asia Moves At Standard Chartered

has appointed Cedric Lizin as regional head, ASEAN & South Asia, private banking. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

Lizin is joining from UBS, where he was most recently head of wealth management and senior executive officer for Dubai. Lizin was a chief operating officer and had roles involving building out platforms in Asia as well as an onshore Japan business. 

In his new role, Lizin will be based in Singapore and report to Didier von Daeniken, global head, private banking and wealth management.

Srinivas Siripurapu, regional head, ASEAN & South Asia, and global head, global South Asia Community, private banking, left the bank 8 October to spend time with his family in India, the UK-listed bank said. He had been at the bank for three years. 

Andrew Ho, managing director and market head, South & Southeast Asia, private banking, will take on interim responsibilities for the private banking business in the region until Lizin joins later this year.
